How You Can Help
We need your help to make the village a reality. We need hard working, reliable and dedicated volunteers. We are currently working on the census, the longest and hardest part of the incorporation process. The faster we can get the census done, the faster we can become a village. Our goal is to finish the census by the end of the year, however we can only accomplish this with your help. We also need volunteers to help out with the various fundraisers that are currently planned. Please contact us if you are interested in donating your time.
THERE ARE NO DUES, MEMBERSHIP FEES OR MONEY REQUIRED to work on the committee. We are only asking for your time and hard work. If you are able to donate towards the Village, we would certainly appreciate it, but it is not a requirement for being a member of the village committee or a volunteer.

We are actively seeking donations towards the Village. If you'd like to make a donation, you can click on the Donate button below which is a secure site through Paypal. You do not need to be a member of Paypal or join it to donate. All major credit cards are accepted. You can also make checks payable to "Smith Point Village Exploratory Committee" or "J. Lee Snead, As Attorney" and put Smith Point Village in the memo area and mail to: Smith Point Village Exploratory Committee, P.O. Box 298, Shirley, NY 11967.
Just a thought...if EVERYONE who lived within the boundaries donated $5, we would have the cost of the incorporation. We know that's not going to happen, so please, donate what you can.
